How long does it take to bike from Kirkland downtown to Microsoft’s Redmond campus?

Answer by Sione™
I bike all over the area, but can’t think of a specific bike trail to get to Microsoft’s Redmond campus. Do you mean the campus on 148th? If you do, I’d say the best way would be to ride up through Kirkland. 85th isn’t the best road to ride on, with fast traffic as soon as you start climbing up the hill and I’d recommend 70th, that goes over by Houghton Market. From there, you can take 70th down to 140th and hang a right on 140th, as this road is much better to bike on than 148th (unless you like to ride the sidewalks) and stay on 140th until you get to your cross-street for Microsoft. I don’t remember offhand what the cross-street is, but that would be the route I would take. I’d estimate it’d probably take about 30 minutes, but I’m not sure how fast you ride. I’d suggest you ride it during the weekend(s) to see what kind of time it will take you and how comfortable you are with the route before trying it when you need to be at work.
